A Bit About Me
Originally from the home of Tayto crisps, Titanic and the magnificent Giant's Causeway, I traded the Emerald Isle for bagpipes, ceilidhs and kilts in 2012, when I moved to the beautiful city of Stirling for university. While there I studied English & Journalism Studies at undergrad, making my return in 2021 to complete my Masters in English Language & Linguistics.

Now... you might notice a gap in my employment. And, while I’d love to say I spent that time globetrotting to exotic corners of the world, the reality was a little less glamorous! Instead, I was getting well-acquainted with the wonders of hospital cuisine while fighting off leukaemia. Though it was a challenging chapter, it gave me a new perspective on resilience, purpose, and living life to its fullest. - it was also a great excuse to get away from the world of banking!

So, after a couple of years of binge watching Netflix and, quite frankly, trying to stay alive, I found my feet again with Planit Scotland, growing within the marketing industry, and developing a talent for crafting content that connects.
In my role as copywriter, I've loved helping brands and individuals share their stories in ways that truly hit the mark, bringing creativity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit to everything I do.

With a cup of tea in one hand and a pen in the other, l'm ready to see where this next chapter takes me...

I'm also a little
obsessed with
cats!
